Nominate Your Favorite Smarty Blogger

Howdy, everyone! When I present on using the iPad and apps in speech and language services, I always stress how important it is to read app reviews and watch video tutorials before buying an app. We love what we do and work hard to spread the word about our apps, but we rely on bloggers to share their honest thoughts with you. Five screenshots and a short App Store description usually can’t tell you much about an app.

Smarty Ears is fortunate to have many bloggers who review our apps, free of charge, for your benefit. It is like a “read before you buy” service for the whole community of parents and professionals. So, to thank our Smarty bloggers, we started a campaign called Nominate Your Favorite Smarty Blogger.

How it worked

If you followed a blog that reviews apps and loved what they wrote, learned about an app you bought from them, or knew a blogger whose opinion on our apps you would love to hear, you could nominate them. We compiled the comments and shared them with our blogger friends so they knew how much their work is appreciated. The blogger with the most votes received a Smarty Ears t-shirt as our thank-you. Voting ended on August 7, 2013.

Here at Smarty Ears we value our blog friends and can’t thank them enough for their support and feedback. They spend a lot of time playing with each app, or even using it with children, before they post. This was your chance to tell them how much you appreciate their reviews, their creative app ideas and their honesty about how good (or bad) an app is. 😉
